Eat it Raw
Dr Suresh's Diet means eating as raw (unprocessed) as possible. His theory is that the human body was made several thousands of years ago assuming that there would be no fire and the humans will eat everything raw. The human body is fitted with a cooking range combining several organs like stomach, liver, gall bladder, intestine, mouth and teeth.
Benefits of Eating Raw Food
The first benefit is that it takes much longer to chew raw food. This strengthens your facial muscles and improves the health of your teeth. While chewing the mouth produces 20 different kinds of enzymes which not only aids in cooking (digestion) but also improves the immunity of the body in fighting diseases
Digesting Raw Food
The human body is meant to cook the raw food. For example, each human being produces 3-5 litres of acid every day, lifelong. When we start eating cooked food these organs are left to rot without any function for which they were meant to be. This leaves the acid doing nothing and in frustration burns the stomach. Within 5 days of shifting to eating only raw food the organs get rejuvenated and start happily utilizing the acid again.
One Calorie Per Minute
The kind of lifestyle that we follow these days where most of the jobs are mechanized we require around 1400-1500 calories per day. There are 1440 minutes in a day which means that we require roughly one calorie per minute. When we eat cooked food the entire calories of the meal reach the blood within 60 minutes. Since the body does not require so many calories these extra calories are converted into fat and gets stored in the cells and we start feeling hungry after 1-2 hours. When we eat raw food the digestion takes 5-6 hours and the body gets 1 calorie per minute so nothing is stored as fat
